Organization

The CD3 is an established component of the research and teaching infrastructure within The University of Toledo (UT) College of Pharmacy (CP) with a direct line to the UT administration through the UT Office of Research.

In addition to its network within UT, the CD3 has developed extensive ties with three neighboring medical research centers: The Toledo Hospital (TTH), St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center (SVMMC), and The Medical College of Ohio (MCO). The CD3 is also in close contact with the Edison Biotechnology Center (EBTC) and with Bowling Green State University (BGSU).

The CD3 operates under the guidance of a director who reports to the Dean of the CP with all CP faculty regarded as core members and with all other UT and external investigators/ faculty considered as affiliate members. Active participants, however, represent the heartbeat of the CD3 and they are members from any relationship who are directly involved in ongoing CD3-related contracts, collaborations, or CD3- designated portfolio projects and general research activities.
